FANTASY HOCKEY MANAGER NEEDED!

SSFHL needs someone to take over a team for the up coming season that starts on Monday.

The guy that was suppose to run the squad has a family emergency and won't be able to manage his team.

PDX Ball Hockey Tournament Champs

Congrats to the Seattle Tsunami for winning the PDX Ball Hockey Tournament on Saturday, October 2 in Portland OR. Over 50 players vied for the coveted cup. With great weather in the forecast, cold beer on tap and the masses gathering on the grassy knoll, players and fans were ready for a great day of hockey. SSH contingent wins Portland ball hockey tourney!

Carlo, Jeff, Koh, Rob, Erik, and Dan in goal just won the whole show in Portland. 0-0, 4-0, 6-0, 5-2, and 4-1 in the final. Erik picked up the MVP with 13 goals. Nice work, guys!

Parks Department Rink Proposal - We need your support

Greetings SSHers,

This past Thursday, Sept 23rd Joe, Eric, Katherine and I attended a Board of Commissioners meeting for the Parks and Recreation Department regarding change of use for underused tennis courts. The meeting was somewhat dominated by the dodgeball group that wants to use Cal Anderson Park (and ONLY Cal Anderson Park) on Capital Hill. Street Hockey in Utah

Hey guys we have a group that plays street hockey every Saturday in northern Utah. I always had a feeling there were other groups like us that play, but I never seemed to hear about them. Do you guys play on rollerblades or do you just play on foot? We are trying to get a rink built here and I was wondering if you have any advice.
