I wonder if the folks in Vancouver has a blueprint for the outdoor ball hockey rinks? It would be nice to try and present to the Parks & Rec in Seattle and Portland for possible construction. If there are hundreds of basketball courts, why not 1 ball hockey rink??

Actually, there are many choices in Vancouver. In fact a search of the Vancouver Parks board site shows 14 parks with hockey rinks. http://vancouver.ca/parkfinder_wa/index.cfm?ftype=52&keyword=&a...
Maybe we can try a field trip to 1 of these rinks. :)
