12/22/07 Recap

Christmas was just around the corner-- cool, drizzly weather, last minute shopping, people out of town-- and things looked pretty dicey for some Saturday road hockey; however, after much finagling a solid turnout produced some competitive 4-on-4 games. Snow Hockey 12/01/07

Pretty passes, inside-outside dekes, and all-out running need not apply. The December 1st snow hockey was all about frozen toes, snail-speed passes and a new meaning to the term face wash! A great turnout of 12 players resulted in some highly entertaining 5-on-5 play and spirited hockey to kick off the month of December. 9/8 Recap

Great turnout for

9/8 games with 4-on-4 and one sub for each team. Andrei Kreptul was

consistent in net on one end and we rotated a couple goalies in at the other

starting with a newcomer named Dan, and then Kevin. Both played quite well

and all the games were competitive with a lot of running and hustle

throughout. Peto earned the dubious distinction of winning the futility

award by going 0-for-6 on the day and to add insult to injury had a goal taken
