What type of shoes should I wear for street hockey...specifically shoes designed for tennis, basketball, etc.  What type of equipment that most people buy and wear?

What rules do you follow?  I like hockey but I am unfamiliar with the rules so I would like to get to know the rules. 

I just found out about your group.  I'm down for Sat Sept 21.

I'd like to play goal but don't have my own goalie equipment. (I got my own stuff to play forward though.) Anyone got goalie gear that I can borrow?

Fall is almost here.  It's time to get all your lazy asses (mostly Canadian) out on the court and play some hockey.  Turn outs have been weak.  Who is in this week???????  Supposed to be a lovely afternoon.

I'm starting this roll call a little earlier to try to get more turnout than last week's sparse attendance. Let's play some hockey tomorrow! I'm all in! It's gonna be perfect weather!

Jeff - put the missing net-holder-bar-thingie with the goals and I'll see if I can complete the repairs of the one I worked on last week.

Who is in for this Saturday, the 17th? I'm not 100% sure yet, so if others want to play goal, feel free to claim the spots. Maybe I'll just play out this weekend, since I haven't done that yet.

So my hurling and Gaelic football team is having our annual fundraising auction this Friday the 16th starting at 7pm at the Kangaroo and Kiwi at 2026 NW Market St.  There is going to be a 50/50 raffle, silent auction and live auction.  Tons of good stuff will be in both auctions.  I even heard my team mate saying that she is donating street hockey goals and maybe even boards, not that we need them but just thought it was cool.  Larger items include a week/ weekend at a house on Orcas with…

It sounds like some players are sneaking off to the 3on3 tourney tomorrow.  Do we have goalies available for the standard Saturday afternoon game, as well as available players?  Please respond if you're in or out so we can gauge turnout. 

Thurs eve hockey went past 9PM, who's coming back for more on Sat? Goalies?
