Anyone playing this Sat? Goalies? Weather will be beautiful!

This year, the intimidation game started early.

At 1am, a certain player hailing from Buffalo disrupted my pre-game night sleep by sending this text:

Hey no joke, I need some help. This is my only allowed text. I’m at a police substation in North Seattle on 130th and Aurora. Can anyone come get me out of here? Bail is only $5000 which I’ll totally reimburse. I’m in bind.

Long time no see. I am in training for making an appearance on the hockey stage. It has taken some time. Thank you again all for the help you provided me and my family in the last year.

My wife asked me to post this. It's maybe not what you guys would like to read on the hockey site, but after a very tough year for her this is her chance to make a bit of difference (and get in shape).

We've gotta play this weekend... can't let a little parade get in the way of Am/Can prep. It seems like the options are:

1. Friday evening. There is daylight until about 8:45 p.m.

2. Saturday morning. The playground will be overwhelmed at noon for a 6 p.m. parade? Is this for real?

3. Sunday any time. Hockey is my church.

When is the easiest time for our goalies to come? That's when we should play.

who's in? who wants to play goalie?

NHL playoffs before and after:

After telling me I was going back to day shift several months ago, they've finally done it. So I can play saturdays again. The weather for this Saturday looks like high 50's with a 30% chance of rain... so hopefully the rain won't be more than drizzle. So who's in? I can play goalie as always, unless others have already claimed the spot in advance. 

Who's in for tomorrow? I'll be in goal for a 1 PM start, then there's playoff hockey on afterwards.

Another month or so of the best sports event going.  Love it.

Guess the NYPD got tired of beating up citizens and took it out on the FDNY.

The 8th annual Canada vs USA game is set for Saturday May 31st 2014, starting at 1pm @ Adams Elementary.  As in years past, this is a best-of-7 game series.  A family-friendly postgame celebration BBQ will be held at Chez Deuce, address and details to be shared soon.…
