CAN/AM 2014 - Saturday May 31 - 1pm
The 8th annual Canada vs USA game is set for Saturday May 31st 2014, starting at 1pm @ Adams Elementary. As in years past, this is a best-of-7 game series. A family-friendly postgame celebration BBQ will be held at Chez Deuce, address and details to be shared soon.
Rosters are INVITATION ONLY! Each year we get more and more interested folks and unfortunately we have to put a limit on roster space. This means rosters this year are Invitation Only. You will be contacted by one of the two team captains depending on your nationality, playing frequency, and tenure in past Can/Am games.
Team captains are:
Team Canada: VP
Team USA: BennyD
Uniforms
Team USA wears blue, Team Canada wears red. No black instead of blue, no pink instead of red (Garside).
NEW RULES: Timed Games!
Based on feedback over the past few years, the Captains are in the process of finalizing some rule changes to include Timed Games and Sudden-Death OTs. Finalized rules to be disclosed on or before game day.
Post-Game BBQ - *EVERYONE* WELCOME
Although the rosters are limited for the game, the BBQ is open to the entire SSH.com community and your families. This year's post game festivities will be hosted by Dave D at his shiny new palace in Wallingford. Address and details to follow.

Both captains signed off on it. It's a group thing, not a CDN thing. Also I hear team Canada will be there at 8am for warmups and prep.

1pm - which means Team Canada should be rolling in around 2-2:30.

I'm finally off weekend shift, thought I was going to be a couple months back, put they kept me on. So I should be able to start making games again :)
