Hi everyone,

Long time no see. I am in training for making an appearance on the hockey stage. It has taken some time. Thank you again all for the help you provided me and my family in the last year.

My wife asked me to post this. It's maybe not what you guys would like to read on the hockey site, but after a very tough year for her this is her chance to make a bit of difference (and get in shape).

Hi,   

As you may know, at this time last year we were just returning from a family vacation to Hawaii when Robert complained of pretty severe chest pains. Not long after that we received the devastating news that he was diagnosed with large B-Cell Lymphoma with abnormal characteristics. Needless to say the past year has been a rollercoaster for us, but are thankful for all of the amazing treatment and support we have received.    At the beginning of the year I decided that I would join Team in Training (TNT) to help raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by participate in the Victoria Subaru Triathlon. Donations made to LLS go towards research and development to find cures for various kinds of blood cancers, but exciting new research is pioneering treatments which will directly affect a wide cross-section of cancers.
