What can I say? We played great, we had many deserving candidates, but the legitimate hardware from the Sin City Shootout avoided us again. I truly believe that we had some solid contenders for tournament MVP, top forward, and top dman, but I don't believe anyone has received the a call with a UPS tracking number.
Alas, we will cash in next year, but until then I present to you our team tournament awards.
The Hardy Boys Award: Vinny Payette and John…

Hi Guys and Gals,
you should check out Floorball...it would be great to get this going in Seattle, we have some teams and a small league in BC, and we travel to Cali, Toronto, Montreal, NYC etc. the competition is always fierce, the skill level is absolutely sick and if you check out the European site www.xfloor.tv you will see that this game is huge over there, and we have to get with the times, because Floorball is the fastest growing brand of hockey in the world.

We're holding an earlier scrimmage for the Vegas tournament team (next week!) but most of us will still be there to play at the 2pm game so come on by. We're still fundraising so bring cash or click on the donate button on the ssh homepage.
Anybody clear the board gear bucket mystery? It wasn't in it's usual place so we had to improvise a set up but it reappeared in the bed of a red pickup truck parked at Greenwood. Red pickup owner, who are you?
Game on!

I'm upgrading my goalie gear and was wondering if anyone had some old gear that I could buy. I especially need some thigh pads. If you know a good place to get gear (in Seattle or online), please let me know.

Well played games in unseasonably warm weather last week. Special thanks to Dan and Sharif for double shifting in net.
The Vegas tournament team (Seattle Tsunami) will have a scrimmage earlier this week but many will stick around for the regular 2pm game so come join us at 2. The good news is that the boards will already be up!
We'll be raising funds for upgrades/repairs of equipment so bring some cash (suggested donation 20$). That includes you Koh.
Game on!
