Does anyone know if Alki Community Center is still available for indoor Floor Hockey. They should still have our goals, so if any are interested, we just need to show up, everything else is there.

A few have asked if they still have Roller hockey in redmond. Per the Redmond Athletic Club website, under Gym schedule, it still lists hockey from 10:00am on Sunday mornings. It is a full sized basketball court with bumper pads along the sides. $ 10.00 per session for non members.

Hi all. I met Adam a couple of weeks ago and he said to come by and play.
I am bringing a friend and we'll see you at Greenwood today!

I've been out of town for the last few weeks - last Saturday, I landed at the airport at 3 and had a message from Vincent wondering where I was. Guess there was a goalie shortage. I'll be there tomorrow. Are we playing at Greenwood?

Hey Boys
I am looking to order some D-Gel Knee/Shin Pads like the ones Vincent has, hoping to get them before our trip to Vegas. I don't believe that it is a requirement, but lately my knees have been getting battered. I was looking at this Broomball site where they run about $50 + shipping and tax.

I am looking to put in an order by the end of the week, and am seeing if anyone else is interested.
Cheers
Greg

Back to the regular schedule this week. Let's play at Greenwood elementary. Better and bigger surface. 1:30 set up, 2:00 play?
Who's in?

Since the Tsunami squad is full, I have contacted the tournament reps about joining another team in the same tourney. They have indicated that I could be added to a team and asked if anyone else from SSH would be interested in playing. They would try to keep us together for the C/D tournament, which goes from 2/20/09 to 2/22/09 in Las Vegas.
We would be able to play in the Vegas Tournament while still hanging with and rooting for our SSH brothers.
Please send me a message, email me at…

Operation Boogie Nights was a tremendous success-- unless of course, if you were expecting it to mirror the movie even remotely. Those of us who took on the monsoon driving conditions for the trip south to Olympia were greeted by a blast from the past in the form of a 1970s roller-rink time capsule. The highlights and lowlights-- for you to decide which-- were as follows:
The rink was dimly lit by hanging globes from the low angular ceiling and a few disco balls were scattered in…

The first Saturday of the year was a good one.
First off, thanks for the early show of help getting both sets of boards set up at the school. It went relatively quick and was very appreciated. We may have to get used to that as the parking lot at St. John's is filling up due to league b-ball games.
The games were characterized by a highly disciplined style of positional play. Thanks to Scott, some of us Vegas attendees got some pointed advice on hockey positions, including…

Setup at 1:30. Playing at 2. Let's try for bigger numbers so we can play at the elementary school. Comment if you're in. Who's in goal?

Scott Olahan and the Olympia guys invited us down to play a game. It's on an indoor surface and is great prep for our Vegas tourney. We're going to start off the game with Seattle vs. Olympia but we may switch to sticks in the middle as the game goes on (it depends on turnout).
The rink is called Skateland and the address is:
Skateland
1200 South Bay Rd NE
Olympia, 98506
Quick directions: I-5 south to exit 107 (Pacific Ave), make right, then right on…
