Hey Boys
I am looking to order some D-Gel Knee/Shin Pads like the ones Vincent has, hoping to get them before our trip to Vegas. I don't believe that it is a requirement, but lately my knees have been getting battered. I was looking at this Broomball site where they run about $50 + shipping and tax.

I am looking to put in an order by the end of the week, and am seeing if anyone else is interested.
Cheers
Greg

Mike, after playing with you guys for over a year now, my skin has thickened and the guards don't cut into my ankles anymore. I'm crying on the inside though.

Adam, you were saying how the bottom of your pads cut into your ankle, right? I wonder if the ones Greg found might not do that...they look soft at the bottom, with a stirrup. Giddyup!

Koh's pad model was discontinued in the 70s.

I like the ones I use. They're light (made for street hockey), flexible, and effective (taken slapshots off of Bubbles). I bought them at www.streethockeyking.com. They're overall selection isn't the best, but I found these last year. Go to 'Player Equipment'. Made by Franklin. They currently cost about $38.

I like the pads Vinny, Andrei and I got...but after seeing Vegas last year I would just go buy some plastic Koh style shin pads and tape/strap them on each game.

Cheaper, and probably a bit better.

The old guy on Defense for the NJ team was wearing them.

I'm definitely interested, mine got hack'n'slashed this past weekend. Adam was saying he got his for around 20 bucks at some site, now I don't remember which one...
