Should be awesome Seattle weather and Stanley Cup finals on the telly afterwards. Who's in?

Hey Hockey Fans, if anyone is interested (esp our north of the border friends), the Tragically Hip are playing the Moore Theater Wednesday, June 17th. Not that I'm assuming every Canadian likes the Hip, but I figured there'd be a few of you. I'm definitely in (even took the next day off work), so if folks are interested, we could probably meet up before hand....the Nitelite is always a classic when attending shows at the Moore.

On my bike ride yesterday, I stumbled upon
this place in Discovery park. 2 basically abandoned tennis courts. Dimensions were about 100x50, 8 feet fence on 1 side and court nets on the other. 0 setup time. Food for thought. Could try it once…

The weather is supposed to be excellent again this weekend. Dan and Sharif, are you guys around in goal this weekend? Or perhaps Andrei will dust off his pads? Jason looked like he did a good job in net last weekend, although dude was that a cricket helmet you were wearing? :)

I won't be around tomorrow or next week, and I think Dan is gone some weekends as well. Anyone playing tomorrow may have to get in goal.

Does anyone know the name of that pub we went to after the game yesterday? My car is still there and I think I left my phone there. :-)
Anyway, if someone can let me know the pub name so I can call them. Cheers.

hey everyone,
if you're interested in watching any of the action, you can go to this website:
http://www.myp2pforum.eu/nhl-icehockey/
click on playoff games today.
click on one of the streams.
watch some desperation hockey.
the puckyou stream in particular works well.
you shouldn't need to sign up for anything.

Hey everyone, I haven't met any of you guys so this Sat will be my first game and I had a few questions. The FAQ says bring gloves, I noticed some of the pictures for the site show people without any gloves, I still need to bring some? Also, I don't have an actual hockey helmet anymore, will any helmet do??
Look forward to playing,
Peter

okay i spoke with greg schneuer and he asked me to make a post regarding the team USA roster. keep in mind, i'm not in charge here but merely getting the ball rolling. i spoke with a lot of folks on saturday and asked them to look for this post and please respond so we can judge interest and availability of players. olympia boys will have to hang tight for now and see how many people in seattle are coming.
a quick overview of the basic framework as it stands…

I just moved to Seattle and I looking for a place to play roller hockey. I was wondering if anyone knew of a outdoor rink or an area with a nice smooth surface to play some roller hockey.
So if anyone knows of a good place to play let me know,
Thanks,
Zach

Does anyone want to come a bit early tomorrow (1:30 or so) to get in a bit of practice? I'd like to get some work in goal. If there is someone who has played goal, or just a few people who would want to shoot around, it would help. I've never played on a real team, and we go right into the games, so I'd like to get some practice reps beforehand.
