Canada vs US game

My reason for making it JUST hockey was simply to keep everything loose and informal as possible.

I still believe in the idea of having the CanAm game. On June 5th or before we can decide to split the group by

nationality. If the majority would like to do it. I'm all for it.

I just don't want to add any pressure or complicate the Saturday. Simple and fun is the foundation of SSH.

Please let me know if you plan to attend BBQ and contribute $10.

Comment by Rob Anthony on May 21, 2010 at 2:39pm: I'm hoping the Can/Am game is still a go. It is fun to have a different format than what we do most every Saturday. Events like Can/Am and East/West provide a nice change and help us prepare for tournaments like Vegas, since they are played at a more intense level.
I missed last year's game with an injury and have been looking forward to this. Also, a few new American players have joined since last year so the games should will be more competetive.

1 = Not a Clown
10 = Full on Clown

Here are my rankings in no particular order:

During my rankings I realized that with the exception of Koh being the 10/10, the VAST majority of Canadians fell on the 5+ clown side.

Much easier to do Can vs. Am.

Comment by ML on May 11, 2010 at 2:12pm: I think it would be a shame to cancel the whole event based solely on some friction inside Team USA last year. Team Canada came loosey-goosey with no pre-practicing and we came out with the win. No reason why Team USA can't do the same - just tell anyone causing friction to shut the fuck up or they can leave.

Anthony, you're low-man on the Team USA goalie totem pole so unlikely you'll be doing any shutting out, unless both Dan and Sharif aren't playing. Just setting your expectations far in advance so you're not disappointed :)
