11/8 game - goalies?

We avoided rain most of the day and got great games in last Saturday. Sharif, what happened? No show? We had to unretire Kreptul and put him in net. He did awesome but the thin gear earned him a few good bruises.

Who's in goal this week?

11/1 Weekly game

I guess it's redundant but I'll post it anyway. Weekly game is at 2 pm again (imagine that) this week. Last day before daylight savings ends. Should be another good turnout, same as last week. Cloudy but no rain in the forecast.

10/23 Weekly game - 1:30 set up - 2:00 play

Apparently, chirping was high for my no-show the week after my "we play EVERY Saturday" speech. Guilty, no worries, I'm back this week.

Ideal street hockey fall weather is in the forecast for Saturday. Let's set up at Greenwood again this week. Bigger surface to accomodate good fall turnout. Plan on showing up at the school at 13:30 to help set up so we can start play at 2 pm. Habs on the telly at St.A afterwards.

Vegas Hotel: Opinions Please.

Hey all. I am in charge of the room bookings this year. We all know what the Strat was like, and now we must decide if we should move locations. I am not in favor of a complete democracy as my opinion may differ, but want to do the best to make everyone semi-happy.

TIME TO SHAKE THE LEAD OUT SLACKERS!

NOW THAT BOTH SETS OF BOARDS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE, WE'RE SETTING UP AT THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (ONE BLOCK WEST OF ST. JOHN'S FOR ALL YOU NEWBIES). Ok, I've posted similar postings to this, but just thought I would really make myself stand out by starting a discussion. I want to play, preferably roller hockey, but i'll take almost anything. I have my own equipment, I live in Lynnwood but I will commute to Seattle for a pick up game. I just really want to play.

Sunny for Saturday! Who's in goal and who's in?

Ben and I will be meeting at about 11AM on Saturday to start working on the other set of boards that have gone by the wayside. We need this other set functional so we can all start playing again back at the elementary school. Any help would be appreciated. It's not hard, it just takes time. We'll provide the tools and supplies.

10/4 - nhl season opener - wet street hockey

Looks like it'll be wet and sloppy Saturday, just the way we like it in Seatown. Good turnout last week, hope you're not all fair weather and will be out in the rain tomorrow at 2pm. As a bonus, the nhl opening games will be on the telly at St.Andrews after our local ball hockey fixture.

Hey, moving to seattle area on thursday, wanna play some hockey!!!! Let me know if you guys are playing this saturday, oct 4. and where. Also, does anyone play ice hockey? Are there any pick up games in need of skaters? I play out mostly, but also play goal, but wont have my goalie equip for a couple of weeks probably. Let me know.

2009 Sin City Tournament in Vegas - Sign up now to join the Tsunami redeem team.

Despite coming in second last place in 2008, I think we stand a descent chance of winning it this year.

Due to overwhelming interest, they've split the event into two weekends- one for A/B level teams, and one for C/D level teams.

9/20 Sat game, bring dark and white!

Cool to see lots of new faces last week. Good hands in the mix. Hippie made a great impression in net. He faced point blank full swing slapshots without flinching!

Andrei's goalie gear will be available if someone else volunteers. Rumor at the after game drinkup was some of new younguns played net previously. Time to step up!
