Canada-America Society Annual "Canada Gala" October 10, 2008

Hi All!

I have attached an official e-vite to the Canada-America Society's (CAS) upcoming annual "Canada Gala" on October 10 at the Westin in Downtown Seattle.

There will be a six-course "Canadian Thanksgiving" dinner, music provided by an all "First Nations" band, plenty of wine, dancing, a live auction and some great door prizes. Dress is cocktail attire, not black tie.

Some of the live auction items will include: (1) a seven day cruise with Holland America Cruiselines, (2) a cruise for 8 people aboard Madera Yacht which is owned/operated by CAS's President, Robert Boyd, and (3) a one-night stay in the Hotel Grand Pacific in Victoria, B.C. with airfare to and from provided by Kenmore Air.

I hope that all of you can make it -- if you can, I strongly encourage you to buy a table of 10 (or even 2 tables). This will assure that you guys are seated together and that you save a little $$ to put toward some auction items!

Whether or not you can make it to the Gala, please look seriously at submitting a corporate sponsorship (we have a number of different sponsorship levels...).

And it's not too late to donate an auction item either (Chuck -- maybe a complimentary financial consultation package given the turbulent financial markets?? Graeme -- we'd love to have Queen Anne Chiropractic offer some sort of chiro service package; and Chris, we would even accept a few dozen Krispy Kreme donuts courtesy of Coho Real Estate!)

If you have any questions about the event or if you know of anyone else that might be interested in attending, please email me.

I hope to see you on the 10th!

Cheers,

Andrei
