Another beautiful weekend for hockey. Who's in? Goalies?

Forecast is morning shower and afternoon sun, so another perfect weekend for hockey. Who's in? Goalies?

So I met a guy who is trying to get rid of a full set of goalie gear. The Craigslist add is here: http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/spo/2988298347.html. He's willing to sell it to us for $250.

I know we have one back-up set (not sure if it's complete or not). Could we use another? We've got plenty in the kitty. Who controls that? Vinny?

It looks like the school is doing some spring cleaning this weekend, including a repainting of the US map on the blacktop. Time is supposed to run 10AM-1PM, but I'd imagine that the area will be off-limits throughout the day. Of course, the weather might not hold, so it could get pushed back to a different day. Anyone else know more about this? I'll try and get an update later this week. 

Here's Sedin scratching at the boards trying to get off after getting rocked by Brown, like a cat scratching at the door after being left outside all night.  Pretty much sums up the Canucks this post-season.  *sigh*

The 6th annual Canada vs USA game is set for Saturday June 16th, starting at 12:00 noon @ Adams Elementary.  As in years past, this is a best-of-7 game series, with game winners being defined as the first team to reach 5 goals.  A family-friendly celebration BBQ will be held thereafter.

You'll never believe who was the MVP...

The forecast is chance of rain, but we all know that means cloudy in Ballard. Who's in? Goalies?

Guys, the weather is supposed to be perfect for streey hockey this weekend.  No rain, partial clouds, in the 50's.  Let's get a better turnout than last weekend....namely, do we have goalies??

1pm start time, as is the norm now year-round.

So far, it is trending 1pm. So I will be there at 1pm.

Who's in tomorrow? I'll be in goal. It's the last game before the time changes and we shift back to a 2 PM start.

One of the brackets on my skates broke and I'm looking to get another pair. I am going to go to Play it Again to see if they had anything decent, but I thought I'd see if anyone had an old pair of 10.5 or 11 skates they'd be willing to sell me.
