This year's post-game BBQ is being hosted by Cory at 752 North Seventy-Eighth street (close to 80th and Linden).  While the team rosters are limited for the big game, everyone is welcome at the BBQ, so come on out even if you're not playing in the game.  Bring the wives and kids too!  The food starts serving at 6pm.

The logistics of previous years' BBQs and the characteristics of Cory's party space has led us to go with a caterer this year…

Here's Sedin scratching at the boards trying to get off after getting rocked by Brown, like a cat scratching at the door after being left outside all night.  Pretty much sums up the Canucks this post-season.  *sigh*

The 6th annual Canada vs USA game is set for Saturday June 16th, starting at 12:00 noon @ Adams Elementary.  As in years past, this is a best-of-7 game series, with game winners being defined as the first team to reach 5 goals.  A family-friendly celebration BBQ will be held thereafter.

Guys, the weather is supposed to be perfect for streey hockey this weekend.  No rain, partial clouds, in the 50's.  Let's get a better turnout than last weekend....namely, do we have goalies??

Weather is supposed to be cool and dry on Saturday.  Let's kick off 2012 with some great goals and greater saves.  Do we have goalies to make said saves?

A reminder that this coming Saturday June 4th is the 5th annual Canada vs USA tourney, so typical Saturday drop-in doesn't apply. Back to normal schedule next week.

Not only is this saturday my old man's 87th birthday, its going to be a great day for some street hockey.  Weather.com is calling for 60% change of showers, but meh.  Who's in, and who's in goal?

This has been talked about on game days but we didn't post anything official after meeting with the City back in July. To make a long story short, any rink solution that we would get access to as part of the City's project would be temporary. The lots involved are currently vacant due to the economic downturn and other factors that have lead to the property owners not being able to go forward with constructions on their sites. But this will change, and when it does our rink…
