New indoor venue coming up soon.

Someone sent me that link.

Starts in April. Wrong location unfortunately but could be fun to try out especially before Vegas... Maybe host a tourney?

Funny thing is, Chris, with the epoxy coat on the floor of the rink, your garage isn't too far off what you'll feel at the rink. It's not quite the sport court I'm used to, but I have played on rinks like this in the past. I was actually surprised that my wheels stood up pretty well...I was afraid they might be a little too soft for the floor, but 80 seems to be pretty good. I'm still getting used to it again, but the worst part of my game right now is my endurance.

I'll try to make it tonight, but I won't be able to get out of work til a bit later, so I might not get back to Bellevue in time. If I'm there, I'll be wearing number 4 with Smith on the back. Otherwise, I'll see you on Thursday for orientation.

Is anyone going to drop-in Tuesday? I can't make the Monday session but I'm going to be there for the next. In case someone has made it down there, how is it?

I put my stuff on today and skated around my garage. Lame I know, but I'm excited to play again :)

Just got an email from them saying that player registration is now open on their site. $155 a person, $85 for goalies. Season starts April 5th, games should be from 5:30-11:15pm. There is also an open orientation on April 1st at 6:00pm.

Looks like they are going to have a draft, which looks kinda interesting.

It seemed like I heard from them within a couple of days. You may want to email one of them and find out what's up.

Rob, how long after you filled out the pre-reg form did you receive the email response? I've tried filling it out a couple times now, and no response. I don't want to keep bugging them by sending my info if I just have to wait a couple days.

This is so awesome. I really wished I could get my ass in gear to play ice hockey, but I'm stoked roller's coming back to Seattle. Looking forward to playing with all you guys.

I'm a few days late, just posted this as well.

I suggest you pre-register anyway so they can get an accurate count of players.

I filled out the pre-registration form and received the following email:

Thank you for your Pre-register information to Roll Cage Arena. Please hold on to this email to receive your 20% discount at our opening season orientation dated for April 1st 2010 we will match this email to your original and complete your forms. If you have referred a friend please have them include “your name” in the comments to receive an additional $10 off. This offer will not expire and is good for your first season to Roll Cage Arena.
We will have our first drop-in session once the Dasher Boards are set up and functioning (date T.B.D) All players will be required to pay $30 dollars per year for insurance coverage to USA Hockey Inline. Hold off on contacting them until after our first orientation date as our contract is still pending and more information will be needed to join.
We are pleased to announce the opening of Roll Cage Arena and Roll Cage MMA. If you have more questions contact (206)724-9869 or email james@rollcagearena.com or Andrew@rollcagemma.com

Since there is a $10 reduction in fees of you refer a friend, I suggest that each of us include the last person that registered as their friend in the comments. That way, all of us who register (except the last guy) will be able to save $10.
By the way, the arena is in Redmond.
Thanks,
Rob
