Future SSH rink - Adam needs your help!!

Hey Guys,

This whole city converting vacant lots may or may not result in us getting a 'permanent' rink, but it seems like the best shot we've got at the current time. Adam has been doing a great job with getting this stuff coordinated but needs some more help finalizing things. See his previous post for how you can contribute. We've only got a week left. Jason has already been in contact with hockey rink contractors to get some schematics and ideas on cost. I've scoped out one or two places, but we can always use more ideas there as well. Here's the latest one I've found. Westlake, just north of Jillians. It was hard to get a good picture of the whole site, but if you look at the concrete right at the base of the yellow building, it is the floor of a building they tore down. Very flat and smooth (all things considered). No site is perfect, but we have to start somewhere. Call to arms! SSH needs you!

I agree we should take a shot at this.

I like your location Steve--and it looks more realistic considering existing conditions.

I did a pretty quick montage using the old Sunset Bowl site on Market & 14th. It's big enough but would probably entail too much construction.
Either we can use this image for eye candy, or I can probably do something similar for the Westlake site.
I've kept the boards, etc. pretty generic to give us some flexibility--not sure if it needs to reflect our actual proposal.
