Luongo registers third shutout in a row! Best Canucks game I've seen live since we beat Ottawa in a SO 2 years ago. Luongo in his past seven games at GM place has only allowed one goal from Minn's Aaron Voros while facing his last 84 opposing forwards on home ice. The man is a god.

thats tight dude, mario was a man with a mission, just think how much longer he would have played if he wasnt going out every night in pain. hes a fuckin warrior, when he played in the nhl it was like he was playing street hockey scoring 5, 6, 7 points a night!

i heard that '93 series was against the flames. heheh

my best canucks live game was in '96 at GM place when mario put his stick between his own legs and roofed it over mcLean (as seen in the top ten mario goals video-- "mcLean doesn't know whether to cry or wind his watch!"). 2G 3A that night in a penguins victory.

Oh, and my best Canucks live game I've ever seen was my first ever trip to Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. Vancouver was up 4-1 thru 2 periods of play. The Wings came back, tied it up 4-4 in the third, than in overtime Drapes put away a rebound past PETER SKUDRA i believe was in net(huge white pads) and the place went crazyyyyy...

I agree Luongo is a great goalie.............during the regular season. Once playoffs roll around we'll see how the team does.

Jeez, he's on fire! The 'nucks will need Bobby Lu to peak in the playoffs to have a chance at the cup. In the 93 playoffs, Roy almost won the Stanley Punch bowl singlehandedly with a won't-be-beaten-soon record streak of 10 straight overtime wins!
