Does anyone live close or frequent the area around Tyee high school?

I was told today that there is a street hockey rink with boards etc near or on its campus.

A little further than the jaunt to Greenlake, but thought I'd put it out there.

I was hoping the tournament might recognize someone from our team...even if it was a most improved award, but I have yet to hear from ANYONE about that. So here are my team awards.

Seattle Tsunami MVP: Dan "The Goalie" 2.8 goals per game not bad, minus that first drubbing 1.5. Today's games were surely better than the rest. The boards system that Benny and Adam spent hours putting together made a huge difference in the speed and scoring of each game. Thanks guys.



We stayed with the same teams the entire time and some strong chemistry was built between Doucette, Saliba, and Werbicki, and I thought Peto and Marshy played well together too. Adam played well out there, and you can tell he's been working on his stick work.

I am ordering some ball hockey equipment from D-Gel through some rep in Vancouver for Andrei and I. He said our order was too small for D-Gel to ship to us, and asked that I up the order a bit.



What I plan on ordering are the hard shin pads and padded shorts, and POSSIBLY the gloves but they seem a bit steep at $75.00.



I believe the shins are 49.00 and the padded shorts are 35 plus shipping.

In spite of the weather, I thought the games were fantastic today. Andrei played wicked in net, Brad put on a show...and everyone was busting their asses. I haven't been to all of the games over the years, but I think this was one of the fastest paced and best games I've been out to. I think that's saying something considering the small flood we had out there.



The new guys are decent, and the newer guys are improving a bunch.
