Vancouver Tournament Information

Hey guys,

I have been in contact with Mike Schweighardt, who is the president of the Western Vice President
Canadian Ball Hockey Association(who knew?) about our team entering their tournament in August.

This is the pertinent information:

Date of Tournament: Thursday August.7th - 9th, 2008
Place of Tournament: Vancouver B.C.
Tournament Entry Fee $600.00 Canadian Funds due March.31, 2008
Tournament Bond Fee $500.00 Canadian Funds due at captains meeting in Vancouver before the start of the tournament.
Teams are required to stay at the host hotel(Hotel rate I was told to be in the $110-120 range.)

The team bond amount is a refundable $500.00, as long as our team stays within the rules and regulations of the tournament(i.e. no fighting or destruction.)

Since we just arrived back from Las Vegas, Mike was nice enough to extend the due date of the fee to March 31, instead of March 1st...and the bond date from March 1st to the captains meeting.

I think this will give everyone enough time to solidify the dates and finances needed to attend.
