Street Hockey / BLISS ASSIST by Brad Marsh

 

    Its my third day living in Seattle, WA....ever. I'm cooking on the Ave. The head chef has been screaming at me all day. He tells me to take some boxes out. I grab my jacket and skateboard and go to my aparment.

    My roomate drives me to 80th and Greenwood and I enter a game of street hockey. I get the ball, make two moves and pass a one-timer to Vinny Payette. He snipes top right corner and we win the game. I make 20 new friends in five minutes. Thank you SSHL*.

Thats my story: Heres what I'd do: everybody throws their sticks in the middle. We choose teams and play a laid back game of street hockey. We have two goalies and nets. Games go up to 5 with no time clock. Whoever scores 5 goals first wins the game, than we re-pick teams. The End.

Would be so sweet! Maybe throw in a fundraiser kicker to increase our chances? Reminds me of an old Labatt Blue ad
