Everett Street Hockey Tournament - July 13

Posted by Erik on June 5, 2019 at 12:17pm 0 Comments

July 13 is the annual Everett Silvertips Street Hockey Tournament in Everett. It's a great environment with food, (shitty) music and of course street hockey.  We sent three teams last year and have three confirmed goalies this year!!  Let's get three teams together and win this thing.  Below is the link with more details.

http://everettsilvertips.com/STREETHOCKEY

The format is 4 on 4 plus a goalie.  Max roster size is 8 players including the goalie.

Games usually start between 9 and 10 am and generally run until about 3pm if you make it to the finals.  It's usually world cup style with 4 teams in a bracket and the top two advance to the semis.  Depends on number of teams, I guess.

I am happy to assemble a list of players that are interested (although I may not be able to play this year) and we can figure out how to divvy up the teams later on.  If you are interested, send…

Emerald City Cup - Hurling on Saturday

Posted by Kevin Brown on June 3, 2019 at 4:29pm 0 Comments

Hey Guys- It's been a while.  Lindsay was glad to hang out for a few on Saturday and watch the end of CanAm game, and see team USA finish it out.  She mentioned a few of you might be interested in watching some Hurling this weekend during our Seattle tourney.  We'll be on the upper meadow at magnusson park, Seattle plays Tacoma at 9 and Portland at 11- if you had to pick a game to watch seattle v portland is likely to be the best one.  Maybe see a couple of you out there- if not i might dust off the ABS stick and try and get back out there this summer

13th Annual CanAm game - This Saturday June 1 NOON!!!

Posted by vp on May 29, 2019 at 12:00pm 2 Comments

Folks, the 13th annual Canam game is this Saturday at NOON!. This is our once-a-year semi serious game where we battle for street hockey supremacy. Canada is looking to avenge a bitter loss in 2018 and team USA will want to show it wasn't a fluke!

If you're new to SeattleStreetHockey, Canam unlike any other game is not a pick up game. Captains finalized their roster this week and you should know by now if you made the team.

That said, the greater SSH family is all invited to our annual BBQ after the game (5ish). Kids, spouses etc. all welcome. James is hosting this year. Thanks James! Contact me at vpayette (at) hotmail.com for details.

Game on!

**CANCELED** Memorial Day Hockey 5/27 morning 9am? 10am?

Posted by Jared Noftle on May 24, 2019 at 1:30pm 14 Comments

Couldn't get quite enough players out, sorry gang. Have a great Memorial Day. See you at CanAm!!

Don't want to muddy the waters on Saturday's roll call but wanted to see if anyone's up for playing Monday morning too.  I'm thinking 9am or 10am or whatever works for the goalies...  GOALIES?

Sat May 25 @ 1pm

I'm in goal.  Anyone else around this long weekend?

5/18 hockey and post hockey extravaganza

Posted by Steve W on May 15, 2019 at 9:32pm 23 Comments

Weather looks to be back to normal, so 1pm start time. Goalies? Olaf’s after, then after that, oh I don’t know, catch a punk show??? I just happen to know of one in Ballard. My band Hammerschlagen is up third.

Sat May 11. 11am start time (due to heat)

Posted by Dean on May 9, 2019 at 1:00pm 22 Comments

Should be a warm one. Forecast says 80s by the afternoon. Let's start at 11am when the temp will be in the 60s instead. You're goalies will thank you when they don't get heat stroke.

I'm in net. Need a 2nd goalie and whole bunch of other players. Who's in?

Only 3 more weeks to CanAm
