Last day before the Can/Am game. Whoever is playing in goal for the Can/Am game should have priority in net on 6/8, to get practice time in.
Comment
Matt: Yes. Next week is a special game, but this week everyone is welcome.
Adam: Two guys walk into a bar. You would think the second guy would have seen it coming!
I was going to swing by for the first time.
In. Good idea Sharif.
Another incentive would be forcing the offending player to listen to Mike Laing tell a joke.
Cam - I'm trying to make sure no one gets a stick in the face and have seen too many up high lately. It doesn't impact me directly, but I'm happy to be the enforcer. We can figure out what works best.
I will be a little late... probably around 1:30. I know that we didn't actually start playing until around 2 last saturday, but still thought I would give everyone a heads up.
Rule 80 - High-sticking the Puck 80.1 High-sticking the Puck – Batting the puck above the normal height of the shoulders with a stick is prohibited.
60.5 Goals - An apparent goal scored by an attacking player who strikes the puck with his stick carried above the height of the crossbar of the goal frame shall not be allowed.
Crossbar height is applicable only to a shot. Otherwise you may swing away at any puck that is below your own shoulder height, as long as it is not done recklessly.
Sharif, just so I understand, if someone is all alone, and a ball comes by at shoulder height and the player attempts to stop it with his stick, he's out?
Adams Elementary school had their carnival on Friday. The ground might be a little messy, so bring a broom if you have one.
In. I guess we need to arrange an accident for Jim :-)
