REMINDER: Can/Am Game this Saturday June 4th @ NOON

A reminder that this coming Saturday June 4th is the 5th annual Canada vs USA tourney, so typical Saturday drop-in doesn't apply. Back to normal schedule next week.

Games starts at 12 noon, we have the referee booked starting at noon so don't be late. Game rules will be announced before the first game but you can expect the standard no highsticking and out-of-bounds goes to the opposing team.  Canada wears RED, USA wears BLUE.

The BBQ will be held at Jeff's house around the corner after the games. Please bring $10 for the food and beer we are providing (and to pay the ref!)- anything left over will be deposited into the SSH kitty.

Feel free to bring food to share at the BBQ in potluck type fashion, though not required. We are providing burgers, dawgs, buns, condiments. Also bring your own folding/picnic chairs if you want to take a load off. We are still looking for volunteers to help man the grill and to help clean up at the end of the night.

Thanks in advance to Jeff and his wife for offerring to host the BBQ, and to Vincent and Benny for leading their two teams fearlessly into the fray of this annual event. May the best team win!

Is there still a spot available on the American team? I'd like to jump in. I haven't played since the Bainbridge rink game. Thanks.

I'll be there. Jeff, thanks for hosting the BBQ, unfortunately I have to leave after the game for my daughter's high school grad party. See you Saturday.
