just played in this tourney, 3 on 3 with goalie 8 teams.
HOUGHTON - After missing six years of Bridgefest fun, the Feet on the Street hockey tournament was back, and for the 12 participating teams, it was a welcomed event. Only Kachows (11-14) and Bliss Assist (open) were left standing at the end, as they were crowned champions in their respective divisions.
In the adult open division, eight teams participated with only four teams moving on to the final day. The stage was set for the L'Anse 3-on-3 All-Stars and WordUp in the first semifinal and Kaleva against Bliss Assist in the second.
The L'Anse 3-on-3 All-Stars won the first semifinal 7-2 before an intense battle between Kaleva and Bliss Assist that ended 11-5 Bliss.
In the finals, the L'Anse 3-on-3 All-Stars kept it tight, down 3-2 after the first half of play (the open division played halves). Bliss Assist turned it on in the second half with seven goals to win 10-4.
Bliss Assist was made up of five Marquette natives, Kyle Marsh, former Ojibwa Eagles-defenseman Rich Ledy, Esslin Conrad, Jon Marsh and Brad Marsh, who made the trip down for the event.
The tournament didn't have any registrations for high schools or under 10.

ha i have video footage of the championship game it was 4 - 4 at one point and my bro kyle scored the gwg. it was kinda gay goalies wern't allowed to wear regular goalie pads they had to wear shin pads. so my friend rich ledy was like "fuck this i don't wanna play goalie than." than my bro kyle u was like "fuck you, you drove all the way up here to play goalie so your fucking playin net." than rich was like "no i'm not." so the next 4 games of the tournament we played with no goalie and forced the play like no other and won the tournament it was tits. rich just played defense/goalie with no pads and whenever they put the ball in our zone he just shot it out real quick. alright thats the end of that dumb story...haha later. and yah i do need to bring the W's to vegas. i say we don't drink next year when we go.....ha J/K!!!!!!11 peace.
