Also we do an annual Canada vs USA game in the summer, best of 7 series.  I don't know if a date has been set for it yet for this year, but it will be right around when you'll be joining us.

Just a heads up that Team Canada remains undefeated, last year we won 4 games to 1. :)

You had me at "I am a goalie"...

The tempo and overall atmosphere is pretty low key, no Conn Smythe wannabes, just want to have fun and score goals (or prevent them).  We're pretty consistent, there is a game every Saturday; we try to start at 1pm but the game usually doesn't get going till about 1:30.

We start by throwing sticks in the middle then somebody randomly divvies them up and we play a best of 3 series, we switch sides for each game that way the goalies don't get completely hung out to dry.  After the first series is done, we throw the sticks in the middle and repeat...we play till we're all cramped up or the goalies go home, whichever comes first.
