Canada-America Society of Washington -- Business Card Exchange on May 14, 2009

Hi All,

First off, I hope to be playing hockey again soon -- my self-imposed "break" is coming to an end.

With that out of the way, I wanted to get the word out that the Canada-America Society is having a business card exchange networking event on Thursday, May 14 at 5pm. It will be held at the Terrace Garden Restaurant, 5th Floor, Red Lion Hotel in downtown Seattle. This event is a great way to meet over happy hour with other Canadians and Americans living and working locally and to network in this tough economic environment.

Here are the full event details (a shout out to Chris Koh for helping me spread the word... thanks Chris!):

“Business Card Exchange”
with Robert Fosco
Consul and Senior Trade Commissioner
Canadian Consulate, Seattle

Robert Fosco, Consul and Senior Trade Commissioner with the Consulate General of Canada in Seattle will join us to discuss current issues and developments affecting the Canada-United States trade relationship.

Extensive networking, socializing and a business card draw for a special prize courtesy of Pacifica Partners Capital Management to follow. So don’t forget to bring your business cards!!!

Food and beverage menu items will be available at discounted “happy hour” prices until 6 p.m.

Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to gather and discuss the business, social and cultural aspects of the Canada-United States relationship, especially in the midst of this current economic downturn.

Please register for free at http://www.canada-americasociety.org/BizCardExchange.html.
