2008 Sin City Shootout Street Hockey Tournament - THANK YOU!!
Greetings All,
First off, my apologies for not contacting you since the Vegas event. It literally took me almost a week to recover and get baack to the normal routine. It was a LONG weekend to say the least.
That said, I hope you all enjoyed yourselves at the tournament. Given the fact that it was your first-ever tournament as representing Seattle Street Hockey, your performance was amazing. There were seasoned tournament teams present that didn't have the drive, desire, efforts, enthusiasm.......you get the point. You guys did an amazing job and seriously represented "West Coast Ball Hockey" very strongly. Yes, there is a distinct difference between the two coasts......first and foremost respect, as the West Coast is treated like the red-headed step-child of the US bal/street hockey community......but that is changing quickly, and all for the better (more in a moment).
You guys did a great job, and added a great del to the event.....THANK YOU.
Before I go, I need to hit you up on a few other topics......
1. Any interest in the North American Ball Hockey Championships in Philly on March 29-30.....or.....the Tampa Bay tournament June 21-22? For a full list of tournaments in the coming year, go to coolhockeyevents.com Let me know if you have any questions.
2. Would you have any interest in another tournament held out here on the West Coast? I'm currently working on two possible events that I will be moving forward on in the coming months, but want to see if the interest is there amongst the West Coast leagues before I move forward. Let me know.

First off, thanks for organizing the Sin City 2008 tournament. It was our first tournament and we're not about to forget it!
To answer your question, I can only speak for myself but
1- Maybe in Philly and Tampa Bay but I suspect that the longer transit might make it harder to assemble a full team. I'll let others chime in.
2- Another w. coast tour would be great! The short hop from SEA to anywhere in CA would make it an attractive proposition
