I was going to try to make it up for the game. I am headed to Seattle for 6 months, and hopefully I will be able to get some Saturday games in. For Saturday's can-am game I have been told the USA roster is full. Although I don't publicize it, I have (gasp) French Canadian ancestry. Any chance I can make it on the other roster?

Come be ref Scott!

Scott - no opposition to you personally.  We all know you have mad skills.  Our roster already is over 20 people and we had to cut it off at some point.  The consensus was that 4 lines of O and D were too many and we are already at that point.

Scott--you would make a great ref as you clearly have no allegiance :)

Want to ref the game? No penalties, just possession. See ya Saturday!

I was kidding about USA goalie...trying to get under Sharif and Dan's skin before the big game ;).  You should reach out to Benny and Vinny, they're the two team captains and make the roster decisions.  Though I'm pretty sure from Benny's post that the USA roster is locked.

I don't mind playing goal, but Sharif, weren't you the goal?  I also don't have any equipment. I wanted to play for the US, but I guess they have a full roster. It sounds like things were getting serious this year. Was there going to be some oppoistion to me playing for team USA?

I heard Team USA needs a goalie.  Can you play net, Scott?

Outrage! You're playing for the US or not at all. It's Olympic rules - what country you would play for in the Olympics, not where your great grandparents are from. Although if you were so willing to jump ship maybe we have to reconsider...
