This was mentioned in a previous post, but, looks like this weekend (the 28th) Greenwood Ave. is going to be a mess, and getting to (if not playing at) St John's Church/Greenwood Elementary will be dicey...
For 15 years the Greenwood Classic Car and Rod Show has attracted more than 20,000 visitors to Greenwood Avenue every summer; please join us for the big 16th year on June 28, 2008. Seattle’s biggest showcase of cars across the Northwest, more than 500 cars will line the streets of Greenwood Avenue, from N. 72th to N. 90th, with bands, food vendors and craft booths. The show is free and open to the public.
I know there has been talk recently about checking out/playing at an alternate site (Seatac/Tyee or Bothell). Probably a good weekend to check one of those sites out? If I remember correctly, I believe the Bothell site would require nets, whereas the Tyee site has nets, but, apparently is "small" and the nets are a little beat up.
Or we could chance it and try to play at Greenwood Elementary still?
