Canada vs USA game and BBQ
Start time will be noon on Saturday. If we get rain, we'll head to St. Andrews as usual. I'll advise on Thursday what the situation will be. Remember to bring a folding chair if the BBQ is on. Don't forget the side dish for the BBQ and $10 if you haven't paid me yet for the other stuff (beer). I know who has paid. Not sure yet on how we'll run the game. Be on time to help set up and pick squads if needed. See ya there.

Those yanks ARE sneaky. Not only did they try to draft Andrew to the dark side (like a European would ever join the USA over Canada!), they also tried to pass Scott (a native Nova Scotian) off as a yankee. I guess having 10 more guys just wasn't good enough? ;) Had a great time, sorry to have to miss the bbq. Looking forward to next year!

A bunch of the Olympia fellows showed up, and gave the USA a much stronger presence this year. They had about 10 subs it seemed.
Canada started with about 4 forward subs, and 1 defense sub.
Canada lost the first game, 5-1. We were pretty worried.
Canada swept the next 4 games, however. 5-3, 5-1, 5-3, 5-3...I believe.
As Peto said, the natural order returned, and we went to the BBQ.

Schneuer! Good talking to you the other day. Everything so far is a go. Team USA should be in a good place on Saturday. I have approval to get all this stuff set up at the school. I have two (not three) massage tables on the way, and two therapists who I have worked with many times. I cancelled the inflatable hot tub due to the outrageous deposit. The tent guys (regardless of weather) won't be able to start setting up before 8AM, so that might cut it close to game time. Some CliffBar reps will be there to keep us fed, hydrated and electrolyted. Other than that, the DJ friend is just waiting to get a final playlist from us and we should be good to go! It's gonna be sweet. Livin' large while playing some hard hockey. I wonder what Team Can has going on? Who cares! See you Saturday in the 'Lounge'!
