June 16th, 1946 - Former NHL center Derek Sanderson born in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Sanderson played in the NHL 1965-66 through 1977-78 with Boston, the New York Rangers, St. Louis, Vancouver and Pittsburgh.
June 16th, 1990 - Buffalo Sabres traded Phil Housley, Scott Arniel Jeff Parker and a first round draft pick (Keith Tkachuk) to the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for Dale Hawerchuk and a first round draft pick (Brad May).
June 16th, 1994 - Boston's Ray Bourque set an NHL record when he was named to the First All Star team for the 11th time in his career.

Hi everyone, I don't have a stick but can I borrow one and play? I've never played hockey before, but I've watched lots of NHL and would like to try!
I have a bum ankle but will come and hop around a bit. Still faster than most of you chumps.
