I will start out by saying I just found this site and I'm happy to see that anyone in Seattle is playing hockey at all. I used to play at Arena Sports out in Redmond until those lousy B*****rds closed down the hockey rink, and ever since I have been SOL when it comes to playing. So here is my question for you guys: why don't you play in skates? I would be down to come out and play in skates, but I am not gonna play in shoes. Are skates even optional?

If anyone wants to play some other time in skates let me know because I am dying for hockey. I may have to leave this damn city soon if I can't find someone to play inline hockey with!!

Sorry man. This style is in the time honoured canuck tradition of after school hockey. There's lots of ice hockey in town but we're focused on old school road hockey. Come on out and run around.
We don't play in skates because this is seattlestreethockey.com. I know, its complicated, but you'll get it eventually. ;)
the surface we play on isn't the greatest for roller blades. i wouldn't care if you played on blades its easier to deak around guys on rollerblades, go for it.
Get a regular rollerhockey game off the ground and I'm sure some of our players would want to join. I'll even let you use our site to promote your game! Our game started about 5 years ago with 2 overweight guys shooting a ball at a wall...
Dude I so want to play inline too. I can't understand why there is no one playing with blades. With the Seattle Rec league, you think that some would be inclined to play roller hockey somewhere.?
There are a number of inline games in town. I think the best one is Saturday at 10am in north Seattle.
