Marshy, the letter "M" comes in between "I and Q", so you should actually be bringing a salad, and leave the dessert to me - bi-atch! Learn those ABC's buddy :-)

Hey guys I’ve been thinking about the format for games and here’s what I’ve come up with. Let me know what you guys think. (Vincent, Greg, Peto, Adam….??)

You guys will evenly distribute the players among the 4 teams. Maybe 2 Canadian and 2 USA teams.. approx 5 players per team..

Team # 1 – Goalie (Dan)
Team # 2 – Goalie (Gary)
Team # 3 – Goalie (Andrei)
Team # 4 – Goalie (Vic or Scott) TBD

Schedule:

Game 1: 1 vs 2
Game 2: 3 vs 4
Game 3: 2 vs 4
Game 4: 1 vs 3
Game 5: 1 vs 4
Game 6: 2 vs 3

Games will be 4 on 4 and 20mins in length (we’ll need a stop watch and a blow horn). If the game is still tied after regulation time then there will be a 5 minute overtime; which will be played 3 on 3. If it’s still tied than the game will go into a shootout to break the tie.

The teams that are not playing will keep score, track goals, assists (1stonly) and shots (if possible). This will allow us to find out the top goal scorer, points getter and also the goalie with the best save percentage. I know Greg was saying something about choosing a tournament MVP. I would be fun to keep track of stats like the Olympia guys do.

Game Tie Breaker Procedure:

1. Most games won.
2. The greater differential between goals for and against
3. If 2 teams are still tied then it’s the winner of their head to head match.

After the round robin the teams will be ranked 1 to 4 based off the ‘Tie breakers’.

Option 1.

Seed #3 vs. Seed #4 – to determine the Bronze winner

And

Seed #1 vs. Seed #2 – to determine the Gold/Silver winner.

Or

Option 2.

Seed #1 vs. Seed #4 – winner will play for Gold and loser will play for Bronze

Seed #2 vs Seed #3 – winner will play for Gold and loser will play for Bronze

Bronze Game (no shootout)

Gold Game (no shootout)

Each team will play a total of 4 or 5 games

What do you think?
