Hey everyone,

I spoke a lot of you on Saturday and there seems to be a LOT of interest in playing indoor hockey in a gym. I've called a few places and left messages with a bunch of schools. Hopefully I'll be able to find a gym. If anyone know of a location that would let us play, please share.

Thanks, see you on Saturday

Pat, that would be great. I emailed a few schools and churches, still waiting for a response. When I was in St.Louis we rented a church gym and put socks over our blades and that prevented marks on the floor. Hoping we can do that again. From a player's perspective you don't even notice it.

Hey Sean - happy to contact someone in Seattle Parks and Rec for you*(I work in Greenlake for the Small Boats and Crafts Center). FYI - I investigated starting something similar in San Francisco.  For any type of Gym surface you'll have to use plastic sticks

I do too. But I don't think schools will allow anything but plastic on their gym floors. Worth asking.

I prefer regular sticks... and ball

What kind of hockey are you talking about? Plastic blades/balls (we used to call it Cosom Hockey)?
