Could be the end of an era tomorrow. Dean's in one net, who's in the other? Anyone else?

There is plenty of other spaces for kids to play basketball, soccer, ride bikes. The playground adjacent to the playing surface has an entrance on the side that wouldn't require people to walk through the playing area. So less danger of hitting anyone and we don't have to pause playing to allow people to walk through.
According to the sign it says no skateboarding, rollerblading or biking on this surface, so people can't get mad at us for preventing riding bikes. with the basketball court, track and soccer field nearby that shouldn't be a problem for us.
the playing surface does slope down on one end but we can get around that by placing the net well in front of it. this still allows for a huge playing area too.
Nice. My understanding of the Salmon Bay surface was it was covered with kids on the weekends. I hope I'm wrong b/c it sounds sweet.
That was pretty fun, although these conditions are short-lived and so we choose to not stay at Adams.
After today's game, Steve, Alan, Sharif, Dean and I walked the Salmon Bay K-8 school playground and all agreed that it was superior to Adams. The hoarder on the corner could easily accommodate our net storage and only needs Koh's initiative.
We are proposing to play there next week to check it out-- see future blog post.
With the new portable moved back and the fence along both sides, that was actually pretty fun. We'll need to do something about the unfenced southeast corner though once all the constructions is done (if we choose to stay at Adams).
UPDATE: just walked my dog around Adams. The new trailer has been moved back to align with the previous single-wide. They tore down the adjacent fence to create a new patch of unpaved play area (still open at this time).
there is also a temporary 6' tall construction fence placed where we normally stand. this could potentially be perfect (if they're not working on extending utilities, etc. and keeping us out).
this week could either totally rule or rot.
Nah ill step out again
Ill get in net
