Broomball: Broomball is a year round sport played in ice arenas throughout the country. It is a game very similar to hockey in its formation and rules, but also incorporates some soccer strategies. Instead of skates, players wear running shoes. The ice surface will be uncut as to not make it so slippery.

I looked up broomball on the 'net and checked out some videos of it from Australia. Looks like a blast and pretty physical too! Can't make it though on Sunday.

Boy, and I thought broomball was dead. I was just about to send my gear off to the salvation army for firewood. Not to say that I can make it, but I will try.
