The All Star Skills Competition - this Saturday.
This Saturday our very own c0ry will be hosting an SSH Skills competition before the game. Events include:
Hardest shot: (we have a radar gun that measures street hockey balls).
Accuracy: We have 4 targets for the net.
Breakaway: Need to confirm goalies. Anyone?
Footrace: Fence to fence.
Skills Challenge Relay: Details to follow.
After the event, we'll play an East West game (or a young old game) dividing up players down the middle of North America.
Game on, 1pm, who's in?

Forgot. Do we need to buy more balls? It won't be much of a skills competition if we only have 1 or 2.

I think I'll be in as well. Sounds like we have two goalies but I can be a backup if needed.

I remember when Greenwood was locked a few times we all had to jump the fence
(although a few couldn't get over so just went home).

They can lock the gates during school hours - in fact that's what elementary schools do - to keep the kids in and the bad people out. But locking during weekends just doesn't seem plausible.

I don't think they can legally lock up the playground, at least not without pissing a lot of people off.
There was nothing about it in the school newsletter but I will look into it.

In. Just heard from my wife that Adams Elementary has install lockable gates to the playground. I don't know if they are planning on locking the gates for weekend.
