Well, by all accounts, the Bainbridge Island trip was a smashing success. Apart from the fact that I am too sore to walk today, we had a great day of hockey. The facility is top notch. Full size rink, great boards, smooth and flat surface. The weather was great, and we played a solid 4.5 hours of hockey. Open ice passing, break-aways, great goaltending...great day of hockey. Definitely work a repeat trip. Plus, we had a great dinner at Doc's Marina grill, sitting outside under the trees, watching Chris Koh starve his exchange student to death. Good times. I only have a few photos, but I believe Anthony has some as well maybe he can post. Thanks to all who came and made it a great time.

This will sound corny but after 4.5 hours of nonstop hockey on a proper outdoor rink, I could not feel more alive. Adrenaline level, was the highest it's been in years. Tight games, tons of running, ideal weather, non-suspect goaltending, a perfect day. All was capped with a Koh lunacy session for the ages. Body still hurts too.

Damn! Wanted to be there but couldn't make it happen. That place would help in training for Vegas.
