5/31 first ever Battle of Washington!

This is a historic for ssh. We're hosting a traveling team for the first time this week. Our neighbor from the state capital in Olympia are paying us a visit in the first ever street hockey Battle of Washington. $2/player ball reimbursement/board set up/overdue thanks

Guys, While paying up Schneuer for the BBQ, please also give him a couple of singles for the $44 worth of balls just purchased saturday. Collected $12 already at St Andrews and unfortunately won't make the 17th. We should consider paying a token 'set-up' fee to Benny for setting up the boards each weekend and Vinnie for leadership, growth of this group and equipment management. Free sticks or jerseys?

hockey saturday

anybody down for a little tourney this saturday. the tournament would be 2 game elimination w/ 3 teams(maybe 4). You throw 3 piles of sticks(3 teams). team 1 plays team 2(team 3 sits out, fetches balls). Loser plays again vs. team 3. team 3 plays again no matter what and than the final two teams decide if they want 2 out of 3 or 1 game wins it all for championship. way easier than it sounds, games go up to 4 instead of 5. most likely 4 on 4. makes games more competitive, let me know what u… Continue

5/3 Game, May game, 1:30 game start

Vic made his first start in net last week and he was impressive! Our performance up front was not as much.

First game in May and weather is looking perfect for hockey. We need to stay sharp before the Battle of Washington at the end of the month.

Early Habs playoff game this week again so let's get this show on the road at 1:30pm.

The Battle of Washington - May 31st

Turns out, there is another active Street Hockey team in our fine state. The Olympia Breakers, pictured below, will be driving up to Seattle later this month to challenge us to a game.

I'll update this post with more details as I get them, but so far, it looks like at least 9 of them will be making the trip from our state's capitol. The game is ~~tentatively~~ scheduled for Saturday May 31st at 2pm.
