We had a ok turn out for our first night of Street Hockey at Skate King 4 on 4 with 2 goalies. Next week will be larger as some players were at the Thunder Birds game. We hope to see this grow and become a regular game on Sunday nights. Come and check it out next week and let us know what you think!!!   

Hey it was great to see everyone and play some hockey.  I wish we could have a bit more success, but I really did not know what to expect.  I had no idea there was a street hockey subculture.  And when I mean subculture, I don't think anyone in Vegas or even in the commercial complex itself has heard of that place.  What a dump.  I've been in some pretty crappy rinks, but that was a disaster.

Anyone interested?

In an effort to promote the sport and its time slot at Bellevue Skateking we have decided to allow everyone to try it for free the first time they participate during the month of March.

In addition we are waiving the USAhockey inline membership and fee. However all street hockey participants will have to sign a liability waiver before being able to step onto the surface. If you would like to stay for the…

Let's break into our respective teams and then distribute the non-Vegas folks to even out the numb3rs (as we did a couple weeks ago).  Supposed to be clear and cool - a perfect day for hockey.  Last week was possibly the worst weather day in the history of SSH.

I'm a newbie from Seattle with a dozen buddies coming down from Canada for the weekend that want to play street hockey this Saturday. How about we challenge the Seattle regulars to a game? We were planning on having our own game, but we were not sure where to play, and then came across your website. Looks like you guys have a nice setup. Please respond asap as we need to schedule our plans soon. Thanks!

Maybe it was the pouring rain and the thought of heading to the warm pub, but people took off in such a hurry there were a few things left after hockey on Saturday.  I have a yellow REI Nalgene bottle, a small blue GU water bottle, and a pair of black sunglasses.  I also have the ball bag. I'll bring everything on Saturday.

Starting Sunday March 6th a weekly street hockey drop in will be held at Bellevue Skateking.

It is a 165'x80' smooth playing surface with curved corners.

It would be at 6-7:30 pm on Sundays.

A few of you today were talking about how Ning (which powers this site) started charging recently.  I found a mashable article about potential alternatives, some of which are reaching out to Ning users to migrate to their sites.
